Use speed, torque and current from the same winding and test condition. No-load speed, maximum-efficiency data and stall data describe different conditions; they do not combine into a continuous-duty rating.
Shaft, body and mounting
Check body length and diameter, shaft projection and profile, fixing points and terminal position against your drawing. Confirm any magnet shield or other feature that changes the installation envelope.
Duty and sample evaluation
Describe starts, reversals, run and rest periods, current limits and the installed enclosure. Request a configuration review and evaluate the proposed motor in the intended mechanism.
Brushed Motor Questions from OEM Buyers
Are all motors with the same series name electrically identical?
No. A series can contain different winding codes with different nominal supplies and operating points. Quote the full code from the relevant table and keep it tied to the selected drawing.
Can I use a wide voltage range as the rated supply?
Use the nominal or rated value for the selected winding. A broad source range may describe possible versions or customization; it is not proof that one winding delivers the same performance throughout that range.
Can the shaft or connection be changed?
Send the requested shaft dimensions, profile, tolerances, terminal or lead-wire arrangement in your drawing. Availability is reviewed for the selected series and agreed configuration rather than assumed across the complete range.
What should accompany a brushed motor quotation request?
Include the full series or winding code, supply, loaded speed and torque, duty cycle and installation drawing. Add sample needs and expected order quantity so the electrical and mechanical requirement can be reviewed together.
